A healthy dose of helping the world
I was lucky enough to see Dr. James Orbinski speak tonight. For those of you who are thinking “Who?” he is the former president of Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) and started Dignitas International, an organization that helps provide treatment and support for people living with HIV/AIDS. He also happens to be a Noble Prize winner (1999). And not to mention an amazing speaker.

Hello :) I put your blog on my google reader a while ago, and I’ve been happy to see that you’ve been updating lately! I also made my way to your photography page, and I absolutely love the “Fence” photo. Stunning. I hope you will be around in June, because we must catch up when I’m home.

I’m totally going to be around in June! I just found out this week that I’ll be working in the Tupper (I know, boo hiss) and Mike and I live pretty much right down town.
